The SEO Keys That Unlock Google Success
Using the Internet to its highest potential when it comes to indexing and promoting your website is vital to your business. No matter whether you provide a service or a product, getting the word out about it is your primary goal.
Google, being the world’s most popular search engine, is naturally going to be one of the places you want to submit your website URL to, and Google offers free submission opportunities. However, merely submitting your website isn’t the answer to instant rankings and visitors. It takes hard work, patience and search engine optimization know-how to achieve a top ranking with Google. The easier your website is to find by Google spiders, the more chance you’ll have of reaching better positions in the Google ranking index.
Google is the most popular search engine in the world today, and earning a top ranking there is definitely a feather in anyone’s cap. Taking advantage of several different options will help you to obtain your goals. Determination is the key when it comes to achieving high rankings in Google, and it’s not an endeavor for the weak of heart.
One of the most important things a Webmaster or web business can do to enhance rankings is to write and distribute articles relating to your topic, service or product to article directories throughout the web. Imbedding links to your article, called back links, will get your website noticed by Google spiders, but don’t overdo it. Try to limit your back links to one per article. Articles should be written well, grammatically correct and include keywords or keyword phrases that relate to your product or service. (These keywords should also be listed in the Meta Tags used to design your website as well).
Submitting articles to article directories and providing free articles, with your website back link in them, of course, is a great way to get noticed, but keep in mind that sometimes dozens of articles or more must be written and submitted before you’re going to get noticed. This doesn’t mean just writing about anything, it means carefully choosing and selecting appropriate keywords that will get your content noticed by search engine spiders and thereby bring you the results you’re looking for.
Choosing the wrong keywords, or choosing highly used and common keywords or phrases won’t help you much, so it pays to be knowledgeable about how to go about determining how popular or unpopular particular keywords are before you even start writing. Keyword stuffing, or overusing certain keywords in any given article, will only defeat your purpose, as search engine spiders, especially those launched by Google, seem to know every trick out there.
Website HTML coding and proper use of Meta tags is essential in creating Google SEO results, and with anything worth having, takes time, patience and determination to learn. There are no easy shortcuts when it comes to creating SEO content that will fly with Google and gain you a coveted page ranking.
Take advantage of the opportunity to submit your articles to free directory listings, especially at Google, as well as writing numerous, free articles for submission purposes as well as properly using back links will get you started on your way to success.
Utilizing Google tools and accessing their news, site directory, helpful hints and forum boards will help hopeful Webmasters achieve their goals when it comes to obtaining a long and enduring, and hopefully beneficial relationship with Google, whose influence reaches to the far corners of the globe.

Thus Search Engine Optimization can help improve the traffic to your site through image searches, local searches or specific search engines.
For example a company that provides Search Engine Optimization services in Orange County can help you improve the traffic through local searches in the county or state and even the country. If your website provides services or products mainly for people from the area you live in, it is better to fin a company that provides such services in the area. Usually these kinds of companies offer other computer related services like repairing, networking or technical support.
Anybody who has a website can and is recommended to use Search Engine Optimization to get the traffic they want and to increase the number of visitors and ultimately the number of sales they are doing through the site if any. Increasing Your Website Traffic – the Importance of Search Engine Optimization
E-commerce is a cut throat business. You have to arm yourself with the proper know-how and the tools to make your site a cut above the rest. Each day, more and more sites are clambering to optimize their rankings in websites and if you lose your guard, you may just get trampled on and be left in the abyss filled with so many failed e-commerce sites.
Search Engine Optimization or SEO is a term widely used today by many e-commerce sites. For the past few years and the next ten years or so, search engines would be the most widely used internet tool to find the sites that they need to go to or the product or information they need.
Most people that use search engines use only the ten top search results in the first page. Making it to the first page, more so to the top three is a barometer of a sites success in search engine optimization. You will get a higher ratio of probability in being clicked on when you rank high. The more traffic for your site, the more business you rake in.
So just what is search engine optimization and do you have to use it?
The answer to why you have to use it is an easy one. You need search engine optimization to be number one, or maybe at least make your site income generating.
With search engine optimization you can get the benefit of generating a high traffic volume. Let’s just say you get only a turn out of successful sales with 10 to 20 percent of your traffic. If you get a hundred hits or more a day, you get a good turn out of sales already. If you get only twenty to ten hits a day, you only get one or two if not any at all.
So once again, what is search engine optimization?
Search engine optimization is utilizing tools and methods in making your site top ranking in the results of search engines. Getting yourself in the first page and better yet in the top half of the page will ensure that your site will generate public awareness of your site’s existence and subsequently generate more traffic, traffic that could lead to potential income and business.
Try to search the internet for many useful help. Tips, guidelines and methods for search engine optimization are plenty to be found. How to increase Website traffic?
I want to increase the traffic of my new website free of cost.
So is there any website which can help me or any other way?
Please help.
If you help me out successfull , you will get a Free Membership of my website which is worth 80$.
The following article will prove helpful to you in streamlining your SEO metatags in order to attract more Net traffic by higher search engine placement.
The most effective way to advertise on the Internet is
to first set up a website and publish its domain name
on major search directories such as Google.com,
Yahoo.com [at http://www.google.com/addurl/?...... and
MSN.com since 85% of Internet shoppers rely on these
search directories to provide them with goods and
services. In a sense, these search directories are a
very large Internet Yellow Pages.
Nevertheless, should your website or opening webpage
fail to contain "generic" keywords, then anyone using
such "generic" queries will not be able to discover
your website. Your domain name [URL] of your website,
in a sense, will be invisible, undiscoverable.
You may want to consider some simple algorithms which,
when observed and committed in designing of a website
with placement of various critical metatags that can
surely achieve a high search engine presence and
increase Internet traffic to your website. These
metatag strategies work well with published webpages
at Google and Yahoo.
Design: Should you create an extensive Flash-based
website, make sure to fill-in the property entries
such as the Title, Description and Keywords. Failing
to do so, leaves no hard HTML or ALT resource that can
be readily indexed by search robots. Also consider the
Internet audience and their incoming setup. For
example, if they are on analog/dialup, Flash webpages
take too long to load up and therefore analog users
will likely lose interest and discontinue entering the
Flash site. On the other hand, anyone on hi-speed DSL
lines, will welcome Flash pages which load quickly. So
before designing a pure Flash websitge, ask the simple
question, "Who’s my end user – is he on dialup or
DSL?" And if you had to choose between these two users
for maximum marketability, then select analog users
since 80% of most resident users are still analog
Internet subscribers and pure HTML designed webpages
is best for them.
A non-Flash-based website which relies on hard text,
is far easier to be indexed by search robots. Limit
the use of stylized text saved as .gifs since as a
graphic, they are not indexable by search robots.
Avoid use of frames since any number of search robots
are unable to properly classify textual material.
Placement of Metatags:
A ranking or search order does take place with Google
and Yahoo and it begins with the "Title" metag which
should consist of no more than 60 characters separated
by commas. The "Title" should describe in generic terms, the goods and services, followed by a location from which the resource is located, i.e., city, state. The placement of a domain name which is not generic within the "Title" is not appropriate, unless your
domain name is a major recognizable brand name.
The second metatag is the "Description" which is
usually up to 41 words to form a complete paragraph which
best describes one’s goods and services. It is not merely a list.
And the very last category – "Keywords" are also
somewhat limited to 15 words which can be plural
and compound in nature. Again, avoid multiple entries
which could be mistaken as "spamdexed entries" which
is defined as the loading, and submission of
repetitive words into a particular metatag category.
"Spamdexing" when discovered on a webpage and reported
to Google’s spamreport.com can result in the
elimination of your website from their search
directory.
Here’s an example of a very highly-placed website on
Google.com: Begin with the very "generic" search query
"sandwiches downtown los angeles," taking note to not
abbreviate Los Angeles to "LA" and of course, leave
out the parentheses ("). It will bring up some 2.4
million+ search results. Check out where "Nazos.net"
is ranked. It’s on the FIRST FRONT PAGE [ranked #5]!
Again, Nazos.net’s high web presence was achieved by
proper web design and placement of relevant metatags
according to Google’s publication guidelines.
Good luck!
how do I increase my website traffic?
If I’d like to increase my blog or website traffic quickly, what’s is the best way to do it?
Depends on your site and your budget.
If Google loves it, Adwords is pretty fast. If they don’t, use Yahoo’s equivalent.
Both cost money. Check out your competitors and model your ads after theirs with your own twist. Keyword Spy is a good tool for seeing what keywords they are bidding on and how much they are paying. There is a free version.
If you like the pain of walking on broken glass, starting writing and submitting articles;) Just kidding. Make sure you know your keywords. Article marketing is keyword based. Wrong keywords = no traffic.
If you have a blog, bookmark new posts with Traffic-Bug.com. They use multiple IP addresses, different accounts, etc. so you don’t get banned.
For my blogs, I use a plug in for RSS aggregators. It sends my RSS feeds out so other websites can pick them up. Great for back-links.
Google has improved their tools big time. I’ve been using them together. Wonderwheel is a cool way to see how visitors got to my keyword while searching online. I also find the most expensive and most competitive keywords in my niche. Some are paying $9 per click. Do you think $9 per click traffic converts? Oh yeah. I let Google tell me where the traffic is coming from, they send it right to my email inbox. Then I go steal the traffic. Sweet. It’s also free. It only takes Google 15 minutes to find it for me. Beats hours writing articles and it is very targeted based on questions I tell Google to look for. A "must" for 2010.
Best wishes,
Jeff
What should i do to get more website traffic?
I can`t seem to get much traffic or any sales on my website. Does anyone have any suggestions? This is my website: www.myhotbuy.com/cobraco
Begin with proper placement of SEO metatags which will allow search engines to index/spider your website on the Web and make your opening webpage searchable by Net surfers. Unfortunately, were you aware that your opening webpage contains duplicate metatags — two sets of <description> and <keywords> and within one <keywords> metatag, there are far too many entries. The number of entries within any <keywords> metatag is limited to 15 words, in plural or compound variations. And the <title> is not localized: where’s the location of "Online Shopping Mall Store," i.e., city, state, country?
Check out the following article which will shed more light on appropriate SEO application.

What is the best way to get a consistent level of website traffic?
Hi we have a website, http:www.poppedlung.com When we look at when people come and have a look at our site it fluctuates daily but always loads on a Friday and not much on a weekend day when I would have thought people have more time. What is the best way to ensure consistent traffic to a website?
One of the realities on the Web is that there are traffic patterns — some sites attract more audiences on given days compared to other days. In your site, Friday is the peak while for my sites Monday-Wed are the peak traffic days, and weekends are slower
Maintaining consistent web traffic patterns is not easy. And to do so, you’d need to do some marketing on the days your site’s traffic slackens. You can:
- push your pay per click on days you’d like to increase traffic
- send out a regular newsletter on weekdays to your subscribers
- buy a solo newsletter mailing on the weekdays
- issue a press release and distribute it online in those days
Review your site’s traffic patterns. Where are the traffic coming from? Definitely there will be rooms for improvement
I looked at your pages, and one thing I noticed is that your pages do not have unique metatags. The title for each and every page is the same —
<title>Popped Lung – Say it, say it loud!, make yourself heard!</title>
whether the page is sports, boys, politics or work.
That’s a big no-no in search engine optimization
Each page should have its unique title. That way, you can accurately describe and visitors will immediately know what they see on the page. Plus, it can help your search engine rankings in terms of getting your site ranked in MORE keywords. More keywords mean more traffic.
Review your site. Make your value proposition more inviting. Make people care about your site. Why will they want to post an article? What will happen when they post an article?
Let people know why they need to use and visit your site, and then promote it every day
