3 Simple Tips Four Improving Your Website Ranking!!

I am confident that if you apply the tips in this report, that you will see a great improvement in your site’s rankings.  You will see results within a month.

Tip #1: Target the right phrase.

  • Too many individuals try to target a very competitive phrase for their website, and that will never get you good results without a LARGE amount of effort.  Doing this is like trying to become a professional race car driver before you get your driver license.
  • No matter how popular a search term is, you won’t get any good amount of traffic until you can rank on the first page of Google for that phrase, and popular terms can take months or years to get on the first age.
  • Pick a less popular search term and you will get to the first page of Google within a week or two, and you will start to get website visitors as soon as that happens.
  • Instead of “Orlando real estate” optimize your site for “Orlovista FL real estate”.  That is a much less popular city, but it still gets traffic.  You will get far more traffic within the next month by being #1 for “Orlovista FL real estate” than being #45 for “Orlando real estate”.
  • Even though “Orlovista FL real estate” might not be as popular, you can also brag to your clients about being #1 for that phrase – which is far more valuable than being #45 or #150 for “Orlando Real Estate”.

There are 2 kinds of “optimization”.  On-page optimization, and off-page optimization.  I will discuss each in tips #2 and #3.  On page optimization is only about 20% of the equation when compared to off-page optimization, but it is VERY important that it is done properly.

Tip #2: Boost your on-page optimization.

  • If you live in Orlovista Florida, make sure you have “Orlovista FL real estate” in your title tag.   (A title tag is what appears between in your website code.) It is best to give a brief description of your site.  For example:   Having the right title tag is the most important aspect of on-page optimization.
  • Make sure to have a brief meta description also including “Orlovista real estate” or “Orlovista FL homes for sale”. For example:
  • Be sure to include an

tag that includes the word “Orlovista”.  For example:

Orlovista real estate – a quick description

Tip #3 Off page optimization (This is the most important one)

    • The most important thing you can do to improve your website’s ranking is to get as many One way links to your site as possible.  This can be done in several ways:
    • The easiest way is to write useful articles and include a link to your website.  Make sure your link includes your keyphrase.  For example, at the end of your article, you could say “For more information about Orlovista real estate, visit yourwebsitehere.com We are the foremost authority on Orlovista homes.”  (Make sure “Orlovista real estate” and “Orlovista homes” are linked to your website.)
    • After you write the article, submit it to Goarticles.com, and you will not only get a link from them, but hundreds of other websites will put that article on their site, and they will all link to you too!  You can get hundreds, if not thousands of links to your site — all for free.  (To find all the sites that link to you, you can go to google a week after submitting the article to Goarticles, and search for the exact title of the article you wrote.  You will then be able to find all of the sites that used your article and linked to you.)
    • Start commenting on other people’s blogs.  Every time you add a comment, you will get a link.  The important thing is that you make sure to make useful comments and don’t just say something like “nice post”.  Bloggers consider that spamming.  You can find unlimited amounts of real estate or lending blogs to comment on by searching for them on blogsearch.google.com
    • One of the most powerful things you can do is to offer a free tool (like a mortgage calculator) for people to put on their websites.  You could embed a link to your website in that tool.
    • That last tip might seem like it’s too complicated, but it’s extremely powerful.  calculators4mortgages.com has thousands of backlinks because of their calculator, and they got them for free.
    • If you don’t want to build a tool yourself, you might want to check out costofcommuting.com They designed it as a viral link-building tool, but once you download it and install on your site – you have permission to let anyone else download it from you, and YOU get  a link.  It’s free too.
    • IMPORTANT: There is no need to complete step 2 before doing anything in step 3.  What is important is that you follow step 1, and make sure to use that keyphrase for all links that you get.  The earlier you start getting incoming links with your chosen keyphrase, the sooner you will see an increase in your web rankings.

To verify that these tips work, you will want to decide on what phrase you want to boost your site rankings for, and then search Google to find out what position you are currently in.  Then, 2 or 3 weeks after you apply the 3 tips I gave above, search for that same phrase again.  I assure you that you will see an increased result.

  • Finally, make sure you include Orlovista 3 to 5 times in the body of your webpage.  Do not overdo it, but make sure it is mentioned at least a few times on your page.
  • (Read tip #1 before picking what phrase to optimize your site for. Because the phrase you pick is extremely important in how successful you will be.)

How Much is a Google Top Ranking Worth?

But how much exactly is a top ranking on Google worth? What can a top ranking on Google do for your business?

If your website isn’t sitting at the top of the search engines, you’re letting thousands of dollars worth of potential sales slip right through your fingers… it’s that simple.

Here’s why:

Over 40% of web users only look at the first page of their search results (the top 10 websites listed)…

So if YOUR business isn’t listed on the first page, you’re losing TONS of sales to your competitors who are!

Paid search results are worth $37.7 million per day

Google published its earnings last month. Google-owned sites (i.e. mainly the search results) generated revenues of $3.40 billion in the first quarter of 2008 (that’s about $37.7 million per day).

Advertisers wouldn’t pay Google so much money if they didn’t profit from it. The dollar amount indicates how much it is worth to be listed on Google’s first result page. And these numbers only represent the value of the paid search results.

Listings in the natural search results are worth even more

An iProspect study showed that 60.5 percent of Google, Yahoo!, MSN and AOL users selected a natural (unpaid) search result over paid search result as the most relevant on a sample query. 60.8 percent of Yahoo! and 72.3 percent of Google search engine users chose a natural search result as the most relevant

That means that you will get many more clicks with an natural search engine listing than with a paid listing.

In addition, studies by Enquiro and iProspect revealed that 60.5% to 70.0% of users trust organic results while only 30% to 39.5% of users trust paid results.

In late 2007, information about an internal Google tool that assigned dollar values to the search results leaked:

Illustration: leaked Google data

It turned out that the Google tool was used by members of the AdWords sales team to help prioritize new customer acquisition.

Natural results deliver a higher return-on-investment

As you can see above, a listing in the natural search results is worth much more than a listing in the paid results:

  • web surfers click natural search results much more often
  •

  • web surfers trust natural search results more
  •

Although natural search results generate the most amount of targeted high quality traffic, there is still a great deal of companies that continue to spend their entire marketing budgets on pay per click advertising instead of investing in natural search engine optimization.

Optimizing your websites for high rankings in Google’s natural search results provides a much better return-on-investment than pay per click ads. The value of a listing in the natural search results quickly pays for the investment you have to make in natural search engine optimization.

    The SEO solution:

The truth is you DON’T have to be a programming whiz or an Internet marketing master to drive TONS of free, targeted traffic to your website from the search engines.

Local Marketing, non-etailer, ideas for expanding business?

I am starting a Hi Def tvs and accessories business. We have had a local photo store for years, now we’re getting into the HD market. Our niche: internet prices, savvy consulting, delivery, setup, installtion all at lowest prices. We are already using craigslist. What about cost/benefit of: local radio ads?, promotions through other local retailers- and which kind?, mailings?, we do have a limited website currently, but we sell local only- so how to SEO for that? We are also Ebay powersellers/drop-off site and use Constant Contact to email blast our existing local customers with deals. Other ideas on product line and pricing would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Hi Cliffrock Websites can still be be very powerful tools for local businesses selling hard goods and/or consulting . . . BUT . . .it has to be done RIGHT. Most local biz websites die deaths of quiet, no-traffic desperation. Easy Local SEO has designed a service that delivers 100 times the benefits of a Yellow Pages ad, at one tenth of the cost. Don’t pay out a fortune on search engine optimization to so-called SEO experts – they try to “trick” or “outsmart” the engines by second guessing very sophisticated and constantly evolving search algorithms. However, the link below to Easy Local explains how building an honest website will grow your business and win the SEO traffic wars every time. Good luck, Sarah
